James Gust serves as the Vice President of Information Technology for AOM Infusion. He provides leadership and guidance to the organization’s Information Technology investment strategy including networks, cloud computing, Enterprise policies, data management, digital transformation, information resources management, information technology innovation initiatives, information assurance and related matters for AOM. Under his guidance, the IT team prioritizes exceptional customer service, employee growth and fulfillment and technology enablement for AOM’s continued success.
James has over 25+ years of experience as an IT leader in the health care industry. Starting as an IT engineer for a home health company, James has progressively grown his career through roles at primary care centers, ambulatory surgery centers, home health infusion centers and most recently as the Corporate VP of IT Engineering for a multinational health care services organization. At AOM, James leads an IT organization of passionate, dedicated informaticists and technologists who strive to provide a best-in-class patient and user experience.
James has a bachelor’s degree in computer science with minors in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Milwaukee. He also holds Professional Certifications in Core Infrastructure, Productivity, Data Management and Analytics, App Builder. When he’s not working, James enjoys rock climbing, hiking, biking, running, football and baseball with his family.
