John Vlahopoulos serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for AOM Infusion. In this role, John develops and leads operationalization for the clinical strategy of the organization and partners with AOM’s affiliates to ensure continuity of care. He also serves as a visible leader in the community, advocating for and improving patient outcomes and population health. With a proven history of generating operational efficiencies and clinical effectiveness, John is an impactful leader who helps develop and expand AOM’s services for patients on chronic infusion therapies.

John has over 15 years of leadership experience in the health care industry, primarily in pharmacy business lines. Before joining AOM, John worked for one of the largest home infusion providers overseeing the execution of scalable strategies to improve the delivery of patient care. Prior to that, he served in pharmacy leadership roles for large integrated health care delivery networks and institutions. Recognized for his transformational leadership style, John leads teams in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to address large scale project and operational needs for greater patient experiences and clinical outcomes. 

John has a bachelor’s degree in business and communications and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Northeastern University, as well as an MBA from Purdue University. When he’s not working, John enjoys coaching youth soccer, taking trips with his family, going out to eat and staying physically fit.
